Terms & Conditions

General Guidelines and Information

• The hirer accepts that the selected vehicle has been delivered in good working condition. The hirer further agrees that the vehicle, including all accessories, will be returned to Quikselect Car Rental LLC in the same condition at the end of the rental period.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC reserves the right to recall the vehicle at any time if the hirer is found to be in violation of the company's terms and conditions.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC is not responsible or liable for any personal belongings or goods lost during the rental period.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC reserves the right to modify or update its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Payment

• Rental charges are calculated on a 24-hour basis. All rental fees must be paid in advance, while any non-rental charges will be invoiced separately and must be settled immediately upon receipt via email.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC reserves the right to apply additional monthly charges if payments are not made by the due date.
• In the event of delayed payment, the following penalties will apply:
  • 20% late fee if the outstanding amount is not settled within 10–20 days from the date of statement of account/invoice.
  • An additional 30% if the outstanding amount remains unpaid between 21–30 days.
  • An additional 50% if the outstanding amount exceeds 30 days.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC reserves the right to pursue legal action if the above payment terms are not adhered to.

Geographical Limits

Vehicles rented from Quikselect Car Rental LLC may only be driven within the geographical boundaries of the United Arab Emirates.

Mileage Allowance

Daily Rentals

Daily mileage allowance is 200KM.

Weekly Rentals

Weekly mileage allowance is 1400KM.

Monthly Rentals

Monthly mileage allowance is 3000KM.

Excess mileage charges

AED 2 per excess km

Fuel Policy

The vehicle is to be returned after the rental period with the same fuel level as when it was hired. Fuel charges may apply if the fuel level is significantly lower.

Salik/DARB

Toll crossing will be charged : Toll Fees + 25% Service Charge + 5% Vat

Fines

• All fines incurred during the rental period will be the responsibility of the hirer and 10% service charge will be applied.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC will regularly settle traffic fines to ensure the traffic file remains active with the authorities. The renter will not be notified of routine fines incurred during the rental period. However, any Block/Red fines—whether or not they include black points—must be addressed by the renter within 24 hours to prevent the company's traffic file from being suspended.
• If the fine is available for online payment, the renter may settle it directly through the designated government portals.

Smoking

Not permitted and will be penalized AED 500 plus VAT

Damage

• It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle's tires are properly inflated at all times.
• Dents/ Scratches will be charged minimum of AED 300 to AED 600 depending on severity of the damage.
• In case the vehicle is returned with interior stain, marks, excessive pet hair, Cleaning will be charged from AED 250 to AED 600.
• Torn seats/hole or any damages to the interior of the vehicle shall be charged minimum AED 700.
• The hirer is responsible for maintaining a good standard of cleanliness inside the vehicle.
• The hirer will be held accountable for any and all repair costs incurred during their rental period.
• The hirer is strictly prohibited from using any third-party repair service. Any such action may result in a penalty charged by QuikSelect Car Rental LLC.
• In the event of any damage or accident, the hirer must immediately contact the Police (999) and QuikSelect Car Rental LLC.
• The hirer must obtain an official police report for any damage caused during the rental period.

Rental Period & Return Policy

• Rental charges are on a 24-hour basis.
• A grace period of 2 hours is accepted on return date.
• Any delay more than 2 hours will result in excess charges of a complete day.
• For pick-up service on return date (in Dubai), the hirer must inform Quikselect Car Rental LLC at least 4 hours prior to the pick-up time.

Security Deposit

• Security deposit of AED 1500 - 2000 will be kept by Quikselect Car Rental LLC prior to hirer receiving the vehicle.
• Security deposit rates may vary depending on the category of vehicle chosen for rent.
• Deposit will be held for 21 working days after check-in date to accommodate for fines or toll charges incurred by the hirer.

Additional Driver

Hirer will be charged AED 25 for each additional driver.

Age Requirements

• All hirers must be at least 25 years old.
• If renter's age is below 25 years or license is less than 1 year old incase of accident and at fault insurance excess will be applied + 10% of damage cost.

Impounding

In the event that the vehicle is impounded by authorities, the hirer will be liable to pay QuikSelect Car Rental LLC all impounding charges as well as loss of rental charges.

Parking & Key Responsibility

• The hirer must ensure the rented vehicle is always parked in a safe and secure location, with all doors properly locked.
• The hirer will be fully responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle while parked.
• The hirer will also be held responsible for the loss of any vehicle keys.
• The minimum charge for a lost key is AED 1,500, and may vary depending on the vehicle category.
• Any parking fines incurred by the hirer will be charged to them along with an administration fee.

Insurance

• All vehicles rented from QuikSelect Car Rental LLC are comprehensively insured for use only on paved roads within the United Arab Emirates. (With excess ranging from AED 1500- 2000 in case of accident) (Not applicable if CDW is availed)
• If the hirer is under 25 years of age OR holds a driving license that is less than 1 year old, an insurance excess of AED 1500–2000 will apply in the event of an accident or unknown damage. Additionally, an extra charge of 10% of the total damage estimate will be applicable.
• In the event of any accident or damage, the hirer must obtain an official police report. Failure to provide a police report will result in the hirer being fully responsible for all repair costs.
• Damage to the following items is not covered by insurance and will be charged to the hirer:
  • Windshields
  • Tires
  • Wheels
  • Tools
  • Wheel caps

Service and Maintenance

• It is the hirer's responsibility to schedule the vehicle for its service on or before the due date. The service-due sticker and checklist provided will clearly indicate the next service mileage.
• Quikselect Car Rental LLC will arrange collection of the vehicle for service and maintenance within 3–4 working days of the booking.
• If the hirer fails to book the vehicle for service on time, resulting in any warranty issues, performance concerns, or mechanical damage, the hirer will be liable for all associated repair costs.
• In cases where service is delayed and causes engine-related issues, engine flushing or repair charges starting from AED 700 + VAT will apply.
• The hirer is responsible for repairing any flat tire that occurs during use. Additional damage caused by driving with a flat tire will be charged based on the tire's type and condition.
• A replacement vehicle will be provided during service, maintenance, accident cases, or emergencies.

Other General Terms & Conditions

• If the hirer is a tourist and holds a driving license from a UAE-approved country, the hirer must sign a declaration stating that once they obtain UAE residency, they are required to convert their foreign driving license to a UAE Driving License. The hirer also acknowledges that it is illegal to drive in the UAE with a foreign license once residency is issued.
• Any accident or damage caused while the driver is under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances will result in full liability being imposed on the hirer.
• Only drivers whose names are officially listed on the rental contract are permitted to drive the vehicle.
• The hirer is not allowed to tint the windows or add stickers/decals to the vehicle. A fine of AED 500 will be imposed by QuikSelect Car Rental LLC for such violations. The hirer will also be responsible for any government penalties related to these modifications.

• No cash refunds will be provided.
